Four performances took place on the Mohammad Abdo stage in a sold-out concert on Thursday evening, featuring Saudi DJ Dish Dash, Egyptian singer Amr Diab, American rapper French Montana, and Belgian DJ duo Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, all entertaining Riyadh Season attendees.
DJ Dish Dash, a local favorite, opened the show with a captivating performance to warm up the crowd before the main acts.
Dish Dash started off by playing a remix of the Saudi national anthem, then played for around an hour until French Montana came on stage.
Montana expressed joy at returning to Saudi Arabia and sent love to all his fans. Additionally, he notified that it was going to be his birthday at midnight, leading the audience to sing "Happy Birthday" as he got emotional.
Diab received thunderous applause following Montana's performance. Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike took over after Diab and put on a great show that lasted late into the night, ending with a fantastic high note that had the entire crowd cheering.
Diab and Montana both made a triumphant return at the concert, following their performance at the Asharqiah Music Festival in Dammam in March, which was a part of the Sharqiah Season celebrations.
At the event, Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, who recently won the title of the world's best DJ by DJ Mag, made their debut in Saudi Arabia.
Faizah Almutlaq, a concert attendee, was thrilled when Diab appeared on stage and couldn't help but cheer as soon as she saw him perform live for the first time, according to Arab News.
It's unbelievable that he was here! I saw all of the other Saudi Seasons come and go, and I was filled with envy when I saw Diab in Dammam, knowing that I coul’t. He finally came to my city and I got to see him. It is a dream come true,” she said.
Moh” she said.
Mohammad”
French Montana went back to Saudi Arabia, and Mohammad Alsadhan, a long-time fan, was happy to see him again. Mohammad had seen him before at the Asharqiah Music Festival.
