A Saudi prison where prisoners live happily

According to the Lesson News website, 95% of Saudi nationals are imprisoned while five% are from different countries.

There are 5,000 detainees in jails administered by the National Security Agency in Dammam, Riyadh, Qasim, Asir and Jeddah.

Reviewing the facilities provided in these prisons, the lesson website says that prisoners are being provided with facilities for education, health, sports and recreation in the prisons.

Prisoners are also allowed to telephone their families once a week for three to five hours.

The women's prison was established three years ago. In which all the staff, from the warden to the soldier, are involved with women. There is also a clinic in the jail where a lady doctor and nurse are present at all times. 

Special nursery for young children is also set up along with the prisoner women. Women prisoners who are expected to have a birth can stay with a newborn for up to two years after birth. Two years later the child is handed over to his family.

The lesson about the prison hospital says that the hospital has 82 doctors, 75 nurses and 11 special visitor doctors.

The hospital consists of 36 rooms, while also has an operation theater equipped with all the necessary equipment and facilities. The prison hospital is constantly connected to the city's central hospital to call for immediate assistance in any emergency.

Um Ibrahim, a woman imprisoned, said: 'I have been in this prison for a year. I have no problem here. Excellent nursery facilities have been provided for the education and training of my youngest child, while we are very much cared for by the prison warden. '

Sheikh Ramzi Mohammad Al-Rabah, the father of a prisoner, told Lesson News that he was in constant contact with his son. He has no problem in jail. My son has become a poet in prison.
