The government has approved a huge financial package for small and medium-sized enterprises affected by the new Corona virus crisis - it will receive subsidies of over 12 million rials a month - which will continue for three months.

According to Saudi news agency SPA, acting Minister of Information Dr. Majid al-Qasbei said that the Saudi cabinet decided during the video meeting that small firms were exempted from inconsistent financial fees.

The Saudi cabinet's decision will benefit one of the institutions whose workforce is nine or fewer, and the owner of the organization must be Saudi.

The cabinet's decision will also benefit an organization whose owner is an equalizer for the company itself - no fixed fee will be charged for the company's two foreign workers.

If an organization includes its owner and its registration is done in social insurance, then there will be no financial fee against the four workers present in the company.

The decision to exempt from the monetary fee will be effective for three years.
