According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), on Friday night, the Director General of Passports and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for Makkah Route Initiative, Sulaiman Bin Abdulrahman Al-Yahya, received the Malaysian pilgrims in Jeddah at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Dr. Hussein Al-Shareef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Haj and Umrah for Haj Affairs, greeted the Malaysian pilgrims.
Upon arrival, roses, dates, and Zamzam water were presented to the Malaysian pilgrims. The pilgrims were happy with the warm welcome and smooth travel procedures. It has saved them much time and allowed them to perform their rituals with ease, comfort, and peace of mind. They also pray to safeguard the security of the Kingdom’s leader and Two Holy Mosques.

Maj. Gen. Al-Yahya thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for caring for pilgrims from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Indonesia using the Makkah Route Initiative.
Maj. Gen. Al-Yahya visited the pilgrims at the airport and welcomed them from different Islamic countries.
Dato Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman appreciated King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad's concern for pilgrims. He praised the implementation of the Makkah Route Initiative in Malaysia.

At an earlier time, Maj. Gen. Al-Yahya inspected the Haj terminals at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
Maj. Gen. Al-Yahya inspected the terminal work mechanism and the completion of pilgrims' entry procedures, evaluating speed and accuracy. In addition, he discussed concerns regarding the systems' readiness, manpower, and tasks in serving the pilgrims with the commanders, officers, and privates of the participating forces.
According to Al-Yahya, the passport offices at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport have been equipped with advanced technology and qualified staff to simplify the procedures for pilgrims.
