Investigative teams under the municipality have stepped up investigative visits to review the implementation of measures applied to shops and malls.

According to the lesson website, the head of the municipality, Engineer Abdullah Al-Zaidi, said that "investigators are ensuring the implementation of precautionary measures in all shops".

"Immediate action is directed against any violation that endangers the safety of the people," he said.

"On the first day of Ramadan, five shopping malls, 17 restaurants and 44 public food stalls have been closed," he said.

"Investigators have also closed a sweet shop, a tailor's shop and a mobile phone shop," he said.

"There have been serious violations of the ongoing anti-Corona efforts in the shops that have been closed," he said.

"The shop owners must abide by the rules and regulations that have been issued to control corona, otherwise the shop will be closed," he said.
