According to the official news agency SPA, Majlis Shuri has passed a resolution in this regard during a meeting presided over by President Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh on Tuesday. Shourie also heard the stand of the Transport, Communication, and Information Technology Committee before passing the resolution.
Shourie told the civil aviation department that they should make the airline companies bound to speedy implementation of flight-related agreements. Those airlines that have committed to operating passenger flights should be bound by it.
Shourie demanded the civil aviation department to "ensure issuance of 50% concessional tickets to the disabled and give them concessions on all bookings".
Shourie has also directed the Civil Aviation Department to redress passenger complaints against airlines.
