Premium brands are highly demanded in KSA's primary market. In Saudi Arabia, LG Electronics will launch the world's first Arabic voice recognition AI-powered TVs.

OLED AI ThinQ and NanoCell AI ThinQ are the latest TV models focused on AI. 

ThinQ is the latest brand from the home appliance giant that uses built-in AI operating systems, allowing users to interact with their TV directly via voice.

Lee Jong-min, a senior communication manager at LG Electronics in Seoul, told Arab News that the company had recognized the local demand for AI-focused language services and introduced the world's first TV models that support Arabic voice commands.

The ability to ask about Jeddah's weather or a kebab recipe in Arabic is now available on TVs that recognize these questions.

The TV remote allows users to speak into the microphone for search, volume control, channel selection, and image and sound quality adjustment.

LG TninQ TVs now support 15 languages, including Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Swedish, in addition to Arabic, with the help of AI technology.

LG announced in a news release that users in up to 140 countries can control their AI TVs in multiple languages.

LG's new AI televisions have integrated Google Assistant, Apple AirPlay 2, and Amazon Alexa support. As the only TV brand, the consumer electronics giant supports Google and Amazon's AI assistants without extra hardware.

The South Korean television manufacturer has prioritized the high-growth potential Middle Eastern market in recent years.

The company established its biggest international brand store in Iraq back in 2017 and also launched a high-end shop in Kuwait last year.

LG is currently operating 13 brand shops in the Middle East, which are located in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and the UAE.
