Emergency landing of Jeddah airport plane
A Saudi plane has landed an emergency landing at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah due to a technical error.

No damage was reported during the emergency landing.

According to the Aikaz newspaper, the plane from Jeddah International Airport on Saturday afternoon made an emergency landing shortly after take-off.

As soon as the pilot learned of a malfunction in the landing gear's hydraulic system, he took off the plane safely.

Sources say that as soon as Al-Sudaia's flight was lifted and the pilot wanted to stop the landing gear, it was discovered that the aircraft's hydraulic system had caused a technical malfunction, causing the landing gear to fail.

The pilot immediately contacted the ground control to inform them of the situation. Ground control completed the preventive measures on the runway.

Civil aviation sources added that the pilot had to lose extra fuel for landing because the extra landing costs for the emergency landing.

Later the pilot landed safely. No passengers were reported injured in the crash. After the emergency landing, passengers were transported to the lounge by bus.
