Heavy rains affect Dubai flights

The Dubai Media Center tweeted that rain in the country might cause some flights to be impacted at Dubai Airport.

According to the media center, there's a high possibility that a few flights will be cancelled, delayed or diverted to other airports within the next 24 hours.

Dubai Airport recommended confirming with the airline beforehand, citing weather conditions, according to Al Arabiya. It's recommended for travelers to leave their homes with enough time before reaching the airport.

The airline Fly Dubai stated that flights were impacted due to inclement weather. 

Certain flights have been delayed while others have been redirected to other airports in the country, according to the airline.
