Saudi Ministry of Health, Dr Muhammad al-Abd al-Ali, said: "Pfizer vaccine can be given to children between the ages of five and 11 to protect them from the corona virus. An announcement is expected soon."

According to the Okaz newspaper, the spokesman said: "The results of the medical studies on the efficacy of Corona vaccines are encouraging. It is more likely that boys and girls under the age of 12 will be vaccinated against Pfizer.

"The process is not over yet," he said. All the work will be done in the prescribed manner.

"Specialists are working on it," the spokesman said. There will be important meetings over the next two days. An important decision is likely to be made within six days.
