The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has banned all banks from setting up special ATMs for the disabled.

According to SAMA, ATMs are equipped with necessary facilities. Their height is so that people with disabilities can easily access them.

The authority has also ordered that offices equipped with necessary facilities for the disabled be set up.

Make necessary changes to the building doors for wheelchair visitors. Make a special exit gate for the disabled to leave the office in an emergency. '

Sama asked financial institutions to arrange special car parking for the disabled. Use different resources to define your programs and schemes. Arrange even the most vibrant service for the disabled.

Use all possible resources to help the disabled. Conduct the use of disability proof documents and approved medical reports.

SAMA has further added, 'Financial institutions manage automated equipment appropriate for the disabled. Announce where these devices will be available, and at what time.
