Three engineers suspended after a woman's car fell into a pit

The vehicle fell out of control of the female driver and left three women, including the driver, injured. There was a serious accident due to lack of security fence around the pit.

According to the Lesson website, Riyadh Municipality has suspended the project's supervisor, including three engineers working at a contractor company, following an accident investigation.

The municipality has made the contractor pay to pay for the costs of treating the damage and injuries caused by the accident.

The municipality said that "in addition to paying the contractor, the company has also been fined for endangering the lives of the passers-by".

The municipality said that 'the contractor company should have followed safety regulations, installed safety fences and awareness boards around the pit, but did nothing'.
