Corona virus: Inflation rises in China affecting business
Inflation in China has reached its highest level in the last eight years following the outbreak of the Corona virus.

The news agency AFP cited official data Monday that the increase in demand for goods at the beginning of the new Chinese year increased manifold more than it had anticipated and that over the past eight years. Is at the highest rate over a long period of time.

In China, the government is working to keep the economy afloat because of the outbreak of the Corona virus, affecting businesses, travel facilities and supplies.

According to AFP, inflation last month reached 5.44 percent, down from 4.75 percent in December and vegetable and meat prices have seen a rise. Food prices have seen a 20 % increase in prices . 

According to Reuters news agency, Chinese authorities had asked business officials on Sunday to extend the leave of their employees by 10 days in view of the rising death toll from the Corona virus.

New lunar holidays in China were supposed to end in January, but were extended because of the Corona virus.

Meanwhile, the number of Corona virus deaths is increasing in the country. As many as 93 deaths were confirmed on Monday. The death toll has risen to 900 while the number of victims has increased to more than 40,000.
