Ever since the ban on large gas cylinders?
In the state, large LPG gas cylinders will be banned by Saudi gas companies. From May 24th this year, the ban on bigger cylinders will come into effect.

Consumers who use bigger cylinders should change them in advance, according to the gas company.

Measures for safety are being decided for the closure of large cylinders. As per 'News24', Saudi Gas Company announced that customers using large cylinders can exchange them for two smaller ones without any additional cost.

The bigger gas cylinders are 22 liters whereas the smaller ones hold 11 liters of gas. Hotels or commercial places tend to use larger cylinders, while smaller cylinders are preferred for homes.

All cylinders in the state have received notices from the gas company, informing customers to change them before the due date.

Gasoline boosters argue that the decision will benefit them too, as it's tough to carry large cylinders and this is in the best interest of consumers.

According to the hotel management, they had commercial access to larger cylinders. The smaller cylinder at the hotel has a shorter expiration, whereas the larger one can be used for a longer period of time. Two cylinders will need to be replaced, requiring additional space.
