Municipality Jizzan officials involved in corruption
The responsibility of investigating corruption and its involvement lies with the Prosecutor General's Office in Saudi Arabia.

As per the news website ‘Tutorial’ in Arabic, the Anti-Corruption Department is probing corruption accusations against two contractors, along with two Municipality chiefs and five officials, in the Jizan Region.

According to reports, the accused is alleged to have committed fraud and disposed of illegal drugs. According to sources in the Prosecution Department, the arrested militants have been found to be involved in corruption at multiple locations. Two high-ranking officials from Baldia Jazan Region and five other officials are among those involved.

The accused is alleged to have endorsed building projects that only existed on paper, according to the indictment.

According to sources, the suspects authorized fake company names to distribute the funds, and the system included companies that only existed in paperwork.

The accused gave government contracts to companies that were not allowed to work and had no equipment but only workers.
