According to Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr Majid al-Qasabi, online business in Saudi Arabia has grown extraordinarily in recent months.
"In the services and products sector, more than 80 billion rials are on record in the Saudi market. There are over 45,000 business centers connected to online business".
Addressing a conference of retail business advisers in the Middle East and North Africa, he said, "There are unique opportunities for online business in Saudi Arabia. There are tourism, entertainment, sports and mining sectors open to investors".
Saudi Customs Governor Ahmad al-Haqqani said in his address, "Saudi Arabia has set a record for setting up 72 new international centers in cross-border business sector in a year."
The retail market in the country is huge. The chances of its success in the future are very bright.
