Jewelry business without 'Saudi stamp' is a punishable offense
Public Prosecution has said that according to the prevailing law in the country, it is prohibited to sell jewelry and gold biscuits with 'gemstones' without a 'Saudi stamp'.

Any modification or addition to jewelry after the Saudi seal would be illegal. There is a punishment for this. 

According to Newspaper 24, the Public Prosecution says that anyone who adulterates gold jewelry or loses weight or alters precious stones or commits any kind of forgery and tries to play with quality will be given two years. Imprisonment up to and fine of up to four lakh riyals. 

The Public Prosecution has said that the same punishment will be given to the person who will change the jewelery after the Saudi seal is affixed or will work by altering the precious stones or will trade the jewelery despite the knowledge of alteration or adulteration.
