Saudi Arabia has become the largest supplier of oil to India.

 In April, Saudi Arabia supplied India with the largest amount of oil, surpassing Iraq.

India's oil refineries have taken advantage of record low oil prices to import large quantities of crude oil from Saudi Arabia.

According to the lesson website, India's oil refineries are the third largest importer of crude oil in the world.

 Indian companies imported crude oil from Saudi Aramco in April and then Abu Dhabi-based petroleum company Adnoc.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates increased oil production in April and cut prices.

India imported 4.63 million barrels per day from Saudi Arabia in April. That was five percent more than in March.

Indian oil companies last month curtailed refining of crude oil.
