The Saudi Interior Ministry has said that the 24-hour lockdown in Qatif will end on Thursday. The ban on coming and going to Qatif will be lifted.
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that the Qatif commissioner had been banned from visiting the country to deal with the corona virus.
Pleasant results of security measures have been recorded. The Interior Ministry decided to lift the ban on visiting Qatif on the recommendation of health officials.
"Citizens of Qatif will be able to leave their homes daily from 9am to 5pm," the statement said. During this time all the activities that have been exempted will be done.
The Interior Ministry has appealed to Qatif locals and expatriates to adhere to safety measures for health and safety. Use masks and gloves when going out and also observe social distance.
