Gone are the days when you could simply drive up to an inspection center and idle away for hours in agonizingly long queues. To modernise public infrastructure and minimize congestion, Saudi authorities have made it strictly mandatory to secure an appointment online before heading to any active inspection facility. Without a confirmed digital booking voucher, gate security personnel will deny you entry.
In this comprehensive, human-crafted guide, we walk you through the entire process of how to get a Fahas online appointment using the unified national portal.
Step 1: Accessing the Official SSO (MVPI ) Portal
The online booking infrastructure is integrated within the unified (Nafath) Single Sign-On (SSO) government services gateway. To initiate your request, follow these sub-steps:
- Open your desktop or mobile browser and go directly to the official URL: pti.saso.gov.sa
-
By default, the landing page will render in Arabic. Look at the upper header menu bar and click on the "English"
-
Click on the prominent "Book Appointment" button displayed on the screen.

4. For Residents click individuals and vehicle owner login.
5. For Non Residents choose 2nd option

6. Once you hit the login, you must verify your identity using Saudi Arabia's secure digital framework Nafath you can see blow Login With Nafath

7. Input your 10-digit Iqama Number or National ID and click login.
8. A unique 2-digit verification token will flash on your computer monitor. Open your Nafath Mobile App on your smartphone, accept the incoming authorization request, and tap the matching number.
Note: You must approve this connection within the Nafath app within 60 seconds before the token expires.
Step 2: Entering Vehicle Registration Details
