Huawei launches mid-range Nova series 5G phone in the UAE
The smartphone comes with AppGallery, Huawei’s official app marketplace

The Huawei nova 7 5G is now available in the UAE, bringing 5G connectivity to the mid-range segment.

The nova 7 5G comes with 8GB of RAM in addition to 256GB of internal storage.

At Dhs1,799 (256GB storage), the nova 7 5G is about Dhs1,600 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S20. Huawei’s own flagship Mate P40 5G is selling for around Dhs3,300 in e-commerce platforms.

The 5G modem is integrated into the Kirin 985 5G SoC chipset. Huawei says the Kirin ISP 5.0 has 15 per cent improved throughput and efficiency to support intensive imaging algorithms such as BM3D and dual-domain noise reduction for eliminating artefacts in photos and videos.
