'Accountant's Profession Most Wanted' in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Minister of Labor and Social Promotion Engineer Ahmad al-Razahi recently declared that the accounting profession is highly sought-after by companies and is especially popular among youth.

He stated that recruitment of women into the accounting profession would be particularly appropriate as accountants typically work from offices and do not need to leave them for lengthy hours at a time.

According to an urgent website, they state: 'Accountants receive an average monthly salary of around 7,000 riyals; this should be taken into consideration by Saudi youth."

The Minister for Labor recently stated that the Ministry of Labor and Human Resources Fund are working together on an initiative to prepare Saudi youth and women for work in this sector.

He stated that foreign accountants working in Saudi Arabia will be registered with the assistance of both the Ministry of Labor and the Saudi Accountant Authority.
