Heavy fines for violating women's workers' rights
The Saudi Ministry of Labor has announced rules to ensure the protection of women's workers' rights.

Failure to follow the rules for female workers can result in fines of up to 5 to 25,000 riyals.

According to the Department of Labor and Social Welfare Population Statistics report, in the state's labor market in 2018, 65,000 Saudi women have got jobs.

"Under the state vision 2030, the proportion of female workers is expected to increase by 30% in the coming years".

Failure to provide female workers with a seat for work will result in a fine of 5,000 rials.

 For example, it would be a legal offense for a cashier to not give or take a chair.

A company or company that does not provide dignified clothing to women workers will be fined 5,000 rials.

There will be a fine of 5,000 rials for employing men on specific occupations for female workers.

According to the Ministry of Labor's continuing violations of the protection of women's rights, companies that have 50 or more female workers are required to set up nurseries to care for women's children. Fines of up to 25,000 riyals will be fined for violating nursery law.

The company, which does not provide security for providing environmental protection to women, was fined 20,000 riyals.

Women should be fined 20,000 rials for not having a specific place of prayer, rest and separate toilets.

The maternity leave is at least 6 weeks. Earlier, calling maternity leave would be a violation. It would result in a fine of 10 thousand rupees.

According to labor law, women workers will be fined 15,000 rials for not providing facilities to women workers at night.

Female employees working with men must have at least one woman on duty at one shift. 

Shifting the duty of a single woman to the shift will pay a fine of 15,000 rials.

Ten thousand rials will be fined for violating Article 39860 of the Code of Conduct for Women in which certain professions are reserved for Saudi women.

For a job that prohibits women from fearing any kind of bodily harm, the employer or the company will be fined 10,000 rupees.
