Illegal workshop seized three sqm of gold
Officials from the Saudi Ministry of Trade and Investment raided an illegal workshop in the Al-Kandra neighborhood of Jeddah and confiscated 300 kilograms of gold.

The Opinion newspaper reports that seven Asian craftsmen have been apprehended from an unlawful workshop.

 An illegal workshop was set up in a house to produce gold jewelry.

Officials from the Ministry of Commerce have sent 300 kg of confiscated gold to the lab for analysis. The Public Prosecution took over the owners and craftsmen of the gold jewelry-making workshop.

The prosecution officers transferred the case to the court for the detained individuals to be charged with illegal activities.

The Ministry of Trade and Investment has stipulated that trading jewelry without a foreign license is forbidden for both citizens and residents. Those who have an interest in it should begin by obtaining a regular license.
