Najran University students get free coffee
Sometimes disaster can turn out to be a blessing in disguise - this was certainly the case for Najran University students.

According to al-Awtun newspaper, students of Najran University expressed displeasure with the food served in its cafeteria as being unhealthy and therefore were protesting about it.

Complainants complained about a lack of variety in food and beverage offerings, with prices for these items considered unreasonable.

Students requested that their university administration not allow food items outside due to cafeteria availability.

Cafe Terrea has recently started providing students with complimentary hot coffee in the morning after receiving numerous requests and reports of students expressing happiness about this decision.

One student commented on how food available from the cafeteria can have adverse health impacts; these calorie-rich options may be damaging.

"On one side, the cafeteria provides inappropriate food while we're not allowed to have breakfast at home," laments one student.

"The cafeteria abides by rules and has been ordered to offer appropriate food items at competitive rates for students," according to University spokesman Yusuf Al-Hazami.
