Now shopkeeper complain about fines in Saudi Arabia
Monitoring work will begin on Sunday in the city of Jeddah through private affairs agencies. Jeddah Municipality has launched this project in collaboration with Public Investment Fund company 'Knowledge'.

According to Al Arabiya Net, inspectors of the private company will inspect the shops and provide a record of the violations to the municipality. These officers will not impose any penalty or take any action against the shopkeeper in the event of any infringement.

Jeddah municipality officials say now the powers of inspectors have been changed to record violations rather than to record violations. Inspectors will take photographs of the violations in the shops and send them to the special committee through the application. Committee members will analyze the photographs on their own and decide if there is a violation of the image.

Sources also said that the inspectors would no longer be in the office but they would circulate the markets and have a list of shops where they would go and take photographs of the violations and send them to the committee. Officers will not be allowed to visit the shops in one of the area so that private relationships between the shopkeepers and the public are not created.

Sources have pointed out that if the committee sends a penalty notice to a shopkeeper, the shopkeeper will have the right to complain. If the shopkeeper does not file his complaint, the fine will be imposed. In the event of a complaint, the top officials will decide.

Al Arabiya Net reports that inspectors' salaries will be higher than in the past. He will also have medical insurance. The inspector will be given a vehicle for his duty. If an inspector has made mistakes more than once, they will be sent for training. Even so, if inspectors make mistakes, they can be fired.

Sources say the new methodology will be launched on a regular and modern basis on Sunday, then gradually expand to Jeddah's nine local councils. In the next phase, similar inspectors will be deployed to oversee cleaning issues.
