According to Sultan Al-Fakeer, the GEA's chief operations officer, the aim of providing a variety of licenses is to promote investment in the entertainment industry, which is a crucial and promising sector. He mentioned that the new online platform provides an uncomplicated and transparent way to apply for licenses.
The Kingdom is issuing permits to boost investment in the entertainment sector and achieve the strategic goals of Vision 2030. On Wednesday, the Invest in Entertainment event took place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, drawing hundreds of investors and stakeholders from the government and private sectors interested in the entertainment sector. Attendees had the opportunity to network and make connections while GEA officials provided information on the new online licensing system and permit procedures.
